The Code

Remember that piece of paper I found in the book last week? Well I finally figured it out!

Turns out it was an Vigenere Cipher, which wasn't too hard to find out, plus the key word was included on the page so I was probably right about the person just playing around with codes. Though, it looks like it's pointing to another book, Apparitions by G.N.M. Tyrrell (love that name), which I just checked on and it is also in the Pratt Library so I'm going to go check it out before dinner to see if this little puzzle continues. I wonder if this was part of that Pratt Scavenger Hunt thing that was happening two years ago. It might not have gotten finished due to the pandemic and the person might've forgotten it was still out there. I guess I'll get to go see!

This is the most exciting thing to happen with this project so far, everything else has been so research heavy these past few weeks. What if I were to add some sort of puzzle component to the project? Would it take the focus away from my other work?

Food for thought.
