This site as a whole is my Graphic Design senior thesis. With my chosen topic of Mystery and Conspiracy I want to create aesthetic deliverables and break down why I view it as an important topic.

Goals

  1. Research aesthetics

  2. Design a set of images

  3. Create a cohesive website

  4. Explain research across multiple mystery-related topics

At this phase of the game, I know that this project is going to develop in its own way. In the brainstorming for this there were so many directions I wanted to entertain, but I feel like a website is going to be the best way to get as many different aspects to the topic to exist within one container.

Why the blog?

The way I look at the process of creating is that it's something very personal and informal and there's a beauty to that. I love to see or hear about the raw thoughts behind certain moves and decisions, because sometimes it comes from the strangest places. Having a blog as a part of this project I can share those same thoughts and tangents in one place that readers can look at to get a deeper understanding of what I'm making.

Plus, there's no set of rules for this. There will be images, there will be links to articles, and there will be a lot of rambling.
