Cryptidcore

Despite the cliché nature of the kitsch when it comes to mysteries, it’s become a major theme in a popular aesthetic. Cryptidcore is the result of a blend of styles from the 70-90s and the romanticizing of cryptozoology.

This aesthetic has become very popular thanks to it's influence in many pieces of media like Scooby Doo, Twin Peaks, Gravity Falls, Welcome to Night Vale and the Magnus Archives (to name a few).
